Salary: £25,951 to £29,323 per annum plus benefits

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (37 hours per week)

At our Client's Council, they are delivering a significant programme of Digital Transformation which will impact on every aspect of their organisation. It will deliver better value, quality, and efficiency in all of their services across North Norfolk.

At the heart of that transformation is the development of an enabling technology platform based upon the Microsoft technology stack. To support this they are looking to appoint an additional systems engineer within the Network Team of the IT section.

As a member of a highly collaborative and supportive team you will be involved with the complete range of enterprise infrastructure including desktops, laptops, operating systems, security infrastructure, servers, network and mobile/remote access. You'll also contribute to the development of the infrastructure based on Skype For Business, SharePoint and O365.

Whilst they expect you to already have significant experience in the core infrastructure elements, training and development will be available to improve capability in other technology solutions in which the Council require additional skills and capacity.

You will be flexible, adaptable and importantly, innovative in your approach to work. You will require excellent technical and interpersonal skills and a strong desire to develop and extend these into other areas of technology.

Employment is subject to a satisfactory Baseline Personnel Security (BPSS) check, which includes a verification of unspent criminal records.
