Javascript/Typescript Developer - Nottingham

A Nottingham based company are looking for a JavaScript/Typescript contractor to start ASAP (in the next 2 weeks) for a 6 month contract, paying between £375-400 per day.

What they are looking for:

A full Stack OO JavaScript/Typescript Developer with a proven track record working on scalable web applications within an agile environment is required. Exposure to the latest tech stacks, with a strong focus on results-based delivery and quality is a must. You should be able to write high-quality code protected by automated tests, end-to-end feature development using cloud, experience with continuous integration and deployment with a focus on performance, reliability and security of the functionality you build and have a collaborative approach to development.

Requirements for the Position

1 Education - software engineering graduate (min 2:1)

2 Work experience - 4+ years in a web development role

3 Level of travel required. Low - occasional customer visits may be required.

Essential Experience:

1 OO Typescript/JavaScript (ES5 and ES6)

2 C# and ASP.NET

3 HTML5

4 CSS

5 RESTful Web Services

Desirable Experience:

1 Visual Studio with Team Foundation, or Visual Studio Code or Atom

2 Layout: SASS/SCSS, SVG (responsive/visual/animation).

3 Responsive: Bootstrap or Flexbox

4 Task Managers: Grunt / Gulp

5 Cloud: Amazon Web Services

6 Data: MS SQL, NodeJS, XML, JSON

7 Visual: Creating SVG visualization for responsive visual/animation
