Head of Technology - Head of IT, Head of Information Technology, Head of Service Delivery, Head of Service Management, Service Management Lead
Permanent / 18 - 24 month FTA
Central London - up to £87,000 plus benefits (Pension, Private Health Care, Life Assurance, and more)
Head of Technology - we are looking to recruit an experienced Head of Technology for a personal finance consumer focused organisation, who operate on a not for profit basis. Based in the company office in London, you will play a key role in overseeing the use of Information Technology within the Service, and develop a cohesive IT, IT Security, Data Security and IT Governance strategies across the Service, are aligned to Business Strategy and best practice.
This is a brand new role, which is very exciting, as it is broad in scope, strategic yet also gives you the opportunity to be hands on, and be a key initiator when it comes to the company's infrastructure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Set objectives, roadmap and strategies for the IT department
· Ensuring the effective and efficient execution of IT service strategy across the organisation.
· Create a roadmap for delivery of an IT and Data compliance system.
· Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance.
· Overall responsibility for the delivery of day-to-day operations.
· Leading the technical and operational strategy for delivery and support of platforms, partnerships and external relationships.
· Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits.
· Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve user experience.
· Contract management and negotiations across the Service to ensure IT security and compliance.
REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
· Management of staff and projects.
· ITIL, GDPR and ISO27001 qualifications
· A hands-on ability to offer long-term workable solutions and act as an internal technology and data consultant.
· Understanding of relevant systems architecture, security and data management.
· Good understanding of IT systems and networks
· Solid experience of developing and deploying ITIL service management processes as well as continuous service improvement.
· Solid service and supply management experience (with experience of service delivery through third party providers)
