Principal Digital SoC Architect

A Principal Digital SoC Architect is sought by our client, a leading semiconductor design services company serving some of the world's leading technology companies. This role can be based either in Dublin or Cork.

Working within the Communications Business Unit, the SoC Architect will own all technical aspects of a wide array of varied projects, and play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time. This is an excellent opportunity to play a lead role within an experienced team undertaking digital system / SoC architecture, system partitioning, digital signal path analysis, DSP algorithm development for complex ICs and systems. This is predominantly office based, with minimal travel.

Requirements

*Extensive experience in design of large ASICs/System-on-Chip designs

*Ability to develop chip specifications, take designs through the full development cycle and provide technical leadership

*Experience working within a mixed signal design environment, with knowledge of analog / RF IC Design concepts would be beneficial however not essential

*Skills in microprocessor IP selection, SoC communication bus selection, cache strategies and performance analysis would again be useful
