Helpdesk Analyst/1st Line Support/2nd Line Desktop Support - Slough
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 3 month renewable contract
Main Responsibilities:
Technical support:
* Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems and applications;
* monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks;
* Replacing parts as required;
* Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system;
User Support:
* Talking staff/clients through a series of actions using the following mediums to help set-up systems and provide IT support for employeesonsite but you will also be required to provide remote support for employees outside of the UK:
* email support using ticketing system
* face to face support
* telephone support
* Troubleshooting desktop system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults;
* Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues;
* Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs and following tasks through to completion;
* Prioritising and managing many open cases at one time;
