Senior Content Designer- Website design, WCAG AA accessibility standards, Digital Transformations, Agile Environment, -6 months- Glasgow and Edinburgh- £300-£400 (Inside IR35)

The Company:

Spring Technology's public sector client is currently undertaking a wide-ranging and challenging Transformation Delivery Programme that will significantly change the how we provide services to our customers. This will include developing a model for how the business can be best organised to deliver a more efficient and effective service.

The Role:

The successful candidate will require having experience of writing for the web with proven ability to create content that is both accessible and usable. The candidate will also possess ability to articulate the benefits of a user-centric approach to content creation. It is desirable that the candidate has knowledge of working within an Agile project management environment, either within delivery teams or through involvement in coordination or strategy.

Responsibilities include:

*Scoping, commissioning, writing, editing and publishing digital content, with an excellent understanding of user-focused, mobile-first approach.

*Making sure customer journeys are the best they can be:

*Accountable for delivering content assets that are accurate, timely, high-quality (based on insight and outputs of user research and user testing, relevant to our audience, easily understood, SEO optimised)

*Accountable for choosing the best format for displaying information to the user

Essential Experience:

*Available to work in Scotland Glasgow and partially based in Edinburgh

*Extensive experience of writing for the web, with proven ability of creating content that is accessible and usable

*Experience in producing content for a responsively-designed website and producing content which adheres to WCAG AA web accessibility standards
