As a Senior Project Manager in government, you will have a unique chance to change the nation and people’s lives for the better. You will be part of a growing community of project delivery professionals working on a range of big, difficult and complex projects and programmes across government.
Right now we are recruiting across two Government departments. Our professionals in the Ministry of Justice are working on a once-in-a-generation transformation project across the entire HM Courts and Tribunals Service, enhancing the provision of a world-class justice system, as well as delivering a modern prison estate that supports the successful rehabilitation of the prison population.
Project delivery professionals in the Home Office are delivering significant transformation between now and 2020, and beyond, to keep our citizens safe and our country secure. New technology and the fast-evolving nature of the threats we face mean we must adapt fast to achieve this.
As a Senior Project Manager you will be expected to lead complex projects in an environment of uncertainty and political sensitivity. You will need to manage a number of high profile stakeholders with often conflicting priorities and adapt procedures and methodologies to suit unique situations.
To work on some of the most fascinating initiatives in government, you will need significant experience in delivering complex or high risk projects. You will also be experienced and credible in dealing with a broad and complex range of stakeholders and have practical experience in actively managing project risks.
