Who: DevOps Engineer with Cloud experience

What: Migration of Traditional hosting to Docker

Would you like to be involved with the further automated development of our infrastructure?

There are hundred servers and millions of page views per week. A complex high traffic 24/7 environment with room for improvement. We are in the middle of a change process and are looking for an innovative system engineer who demonstrates who loves to work on automated infrastructure.

Your challenge: Develop and Manage the Linux Web enviroment

Currently, everything is in the Cloud and we’re moving to Docker to make full use of it. We are now working in a traditional hosted environment but we need you to move us to Docker this year! As an engineer your responsibility is to manage and migrate new environments for uptime, security and performance.You will work in a team of fifteen people with one other engineer and report to the Head of Development. In this team there is ample opportunity to use your initiative and develop your talents. We work in a relaxed atmosphere but we expect a high level of responsibility. In the organization the new management style places emphasis on the ability to work independently and towards clear objectives.

Looking for: Tenacious problem solver with a passion for Cloud.?

You find it a challenge to prevent and solve problems in Linux. You have experience with Cloud and want to work with and learn Docker because the migration to Docker is the first challenge! We are looking for a structured, developer friendly system engineer. This means that you can solve problems as a member of our team. It is important you have the ability to make decisions judged on a broad experience and a good overview to find solutions to system problems.

Your possess:

- A minimum of two years work experience with a high traffic website or hosting party

- A completed a professional IT bachelor (in IT)

- Experience with Cloud technologies

- Interest in Docker

- Experience with managing of Linux (CentOS)

- Experience with managing a web stack

- Experience with Puppet, Ansible or Chef

- You connect systems and people and a clear communicator
