Senior SAS Insight Analyst - Retail - 3-6 Month contract - London- £350 per day

My client is looking for top calibre contractors available who are expert SAS/SQL analysts and who can exceed expectations of stakeholders as well as lead a team of junior analysts. You must be a highly experienced SAS user with experience of SQL/SPSS/R or similar tools.

You must be able to contribute your own strategic ideas to help identify areas to further the business and maximise profits.

My client is a firmly established consultancy with offices all over the globe who are looking for a contractor to join immediately. They have a reputation for employing only the best in the industry and boast a roster of brand name, blue chip clients

THE ROLE

To help provide in depth SAS based analysis of their clients data you will be require to not only get hands on with the complex data sets but also present your findings back to key stakeholders and non technical audiences. You will be working on site with clients and acting as the face of the company. You will be involved in defining the measurables and deadlines of the project as well as performing advanced SAS based analytics.

EXPERIENCE

You will need experience in the following areas:

* Educated to degree level in a relevant subject (Maths, Statistics, Economics etc.)

* Highly experienced with analytical tools such as SAS, SQL, SPSS, R

* Experience in advanced statistical techniques such as modelling, regression, clustering, hypothesis testing etc

* Excellent communication and presentation skills as this is an extremely client facing role

* Experience in financial services industry preferable
