Global Payments is responsible for processing fast, secure, innovative, flexible transaction management services that are compliant. Global Payments manages Lloyds Banking Group's (LBG) Payment processing, Transaction Compliance and Reconciliations, Market Operations, Libor Law and Trade Services as well as the change and development requirements to remain compliant with established regulations. The area is a centre of excellence with a strong focus on developing innovative solutions to keep customers payments safe, whilst responding to the change needs and expectations of customers.

Global Payments process payment transactions for circa 33% of the UK economy. 95% of the LBG global transactions and processed through our team and we oversee the remaining 5%. There are 3000 colleagues in the team of which about 500 are responsible for delivering change.

As a Senior Developer, you will report to a Project Manager in PPI Reconciliation Development, and you will complete and oversee the technical design and build of business solutions aligned with the strategy for a medium to large sized project or a component(s)/workstream of a large project/programme, (typically Gold/ Silver CAT status), typically supported by a small team.

You will need to demonstrate proven experience of developing solutions for a large financial organisation, demonstrating recent experience in:

- building and maintaining applications that use a c# coded .NET front-end and a SQL-server database back-end

- .NET 4.0, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) pattern, and Entity Framework

- SQL2008R2, working with complex database structures, Stored Procedure development, and SSIS package development

You will also need to have experence of working to various development methodologies (e.g. RAD/Agile/Waterfall), and experience of using Office Open XML libraries to build spreadsheet reports using C# would be advantageous.

Building and nurturing relationships with the business, senior management and the project team are essential skills, as is the ability to understand and interpret requirements into functional and technical specification documents, and interpret data and results to suggest improvements and fixes required.
