The Opportunity

We are looking for a Performance Analyst to join our User Experience team at the Parliamentary Digital Service (PDS), which sits within the Products Directorate.

As a Performance Analyst, you will specify, collect and present the key performance data and analysis for digital products and services and will work to build a robust performance analysis capability. You will be comfortable working with large and complex data sets and have the skills to present and communicate your findings and recommendations to non-technical and technical colleagues. You'll conduct analysis and support colleagues to articulate and measure benefits and performance across projects, products and services, supporting teams with defining what good looks like. The goals you help to define will reflect strategic aims, customer needs and quality standards. You'll embed a culture of continuous improvement and build skills and capability through knowledge sharing and coaching.

This role will use insights and analysis to inform evidence-led decision making in design, delivery and strategic contexts.

What You Need

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • experience of data analysis, analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Excel, PowerBI, etc), visualisation, and measurement across a range of products and services
  • Be able to support teams in using insights and analysis to design and deliver customer focussed outputs and give direction on which tools or methods to use.
  • You understand the legal, privacy, security, and ethical considerations around data collection.
  • Ability to develop, implement and improve processes. Have good planning and organisational skills to prioritise, meet deadlines and cope with fluctuations in workload
  • the ability to pass security clearance, backed by the right to work in the UK
