R&D Technician £26,000 - £30,000 + Training + Progression + Monday to Friday + Early Friday Finish + Company Benefits Wednesbury, West Midlands (Commutable from: Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, West Bromwich, and Birmingham) Are you from a Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering background, looking for a technically interesting role within a market leading company offering lots of training and career progression? On offer is a highly varied role, where you will develop your skills through on the job training and have the opportunity to step up into a Research and Development Engineer role in the future. This is a brilliant time to join this highly successful and experienced manufacturer as they go through a period of continued expansion, and look to continue growing their team. You will be involved in new product introduction, carrying out research and developing new methods to dismantle and reassemble products. This role would suit someone with previous experience within a Production / Manufacturing engineering role, looking for a long term career within the Automotive industry. The Role:

• New product introduction and creating bills of materials
• Researching and developing existing products
• Creating methods to dismantle and reassemble
• Creating data sheets for new products
• Monday to Friday, 37 hours (with an early Friday finish)

The Person:

• Mechanical and/or Electrical background
• Looking to get involved in NPI and Research & Development
• Experience using measuring equipment
• Ideally previous experience working within a Production or Manufacturing Engineering role
