LBG has taken the decision to build a pioneering datacentre to provide us with a right sized, modern and sustainable hosting location for the next 20 years and beyond.To help us achieve this, LBG are looking to appoint a Senior Infrastructure Solution Architect with a passion for making a difference! Someone who can combine technical knowledge and analytical skills to visualise the bigger picture and help design our future hosting capabilities.What will you be doing with us?We believe that people don't fit succinctly into roles and above all, we value everyone's individual skills, experience, and knowledge.Your role will include:Creating positive relationships with Enterprise Architecture, ensuring design decisions are aligned with overarching enterprise architectural standards and strategiesCollaborating and leading with our platform teams to support the development and integration of roadmaps, defining migration methodologies to facilitate the movement of applications and infrastructure to the new datacentreGaining a deep understanding of LBG environments and the systems integration challenges facing major transformation and migration initiativesOperating at an architectural level but also knowing how to design and deploy infrastructure changeWorking with technical delivery managers to support planning, costing, and brokering the interaction with SME'sTranslating the complex and ambiguous requirements into clear and concise designsThere will also be multiple elements of risk, compliance, and governance within the role, and you can share your knowledge to help deliver the best technical solutions for complex and significant business needs.Why Lloyds Banking Group Like the modern Britain we serve, we're evolving.
