Product Engineer

Our Edinburgh based client is currently searching for a Product Engineer to be responsible for project managing NPI activities within the semiconductor product engineering team. The role will involve yield and trend analysis as well as communicating with test subcontractors and addressing manufacturing, cost and yield issues. Understanding reliability and qualification of new devices will be an important part of the role. Experience of releasing new products from the design phase through to release to production phase will be required.

Required skills for the Product Engineer will include:

• Strong semiconductor product engineering knowledge
• Experience of production mixed signal IC testers, Advantest, Teradyne A5, Catalyst or UltraFlex would be advantageous
• Failure Analysis and reliability knowledge
• Test Development, Process Engineering, Statistical analysis and Customer Support
• Strong communication skills
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline
