PHP Developer - UK Leading Digital Design Marketing Company - Glasgow

Our client is looking for a PHP Developer to join a successful Digital Design Marketing Company who is based in Glasgow. They develop various types of projects from brochure websites, eCommerce stores and bespoke web apps. They have various clients from various sectors, but multiple clients within recruitment, hospitality & restaurants, finance, and health sectors. With a great influx of exciting digital design projects on the horizon, they are now looking for an enthusiastic and experienced PHP developer to help create and develop innovative and engaging front and backend digital solutions.

As a PHP Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our clients' websites. Your creativity and technical prowess will be put to the test as you translate design concepts into responsive and user-friendly websites. With your proficiency in PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, DevOps practices and WordPress, you will bring our clients' visions to life while ensuring optimal performance and functionality.

The main responsibilities for this PHP developer role includes customising and extending WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements and collaborate with design and development teams to bring website concepts to completion. You will also implement responsive design principles to ensure seamless performance across various devices. You will be customising and optimising PHP websites, integrating powerful plugins and themes.

They are looking for PHP Developers with experience in some or all of the following (full training will be provided to fill any gaps in your skill set): PHP, Laravel, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, Git, WooCommerce, MVC frameworks, specifically Vue, Linux, MySQL, task runners/bundlers such as Gulp, Webpack or Grunt, AWS, Digital Ocean, REST API's.

The PHP Developer position comes with the following benefits:
