Job title: Senior Consultant - Safety & Environmental Engineering (Product Environmental)

What you'll be doing:

  • Acting as dreadnought alliance whole boat environmental alliance and sustainability Aspects of the design build test and commissioning
  • Management of the environmental management system, ensuring it complies with the MOD Policy and defence regulations
  • Insurance of the system design and the environmental aspect meets environmental targets and requirements
  • Oversee and provision of material assurance of product legislation and disposal traversing areas

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Experience of managing environment aspects and the quality supportability and main ability through the life system
  • Extensive experience including operating as a manager in a complex organisation
  • Significant knowledge of environmental, sustainability in a high risk industry
  • A stem degree or equivalent experience, potentially a chartered engineer Member IEMA or working towards full membership

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of commercial and financial
  • Knowledge and experience in legal and regulatory framework

The Dreadnought Alliance Safety & Environmental team:

The Dreadnought Alliance is formed between the Ministry of Defence's Submarine Delivery Agency (SDA), BAE Systems and Rolls-Royce and is responsible for delivery of safe and fit for purpose Dreadnought submarines to the Whole Boat Technical Specification.
