An opportunity has become available for a Photonics Test Engineer to join a growing quantum photonics company based in Sheffield.

As a Photonics Test Engineer you will have a number of responsibilities that include;

• Test and characterisation of quantum PICs
• Automation of optical and photonic lab test equipment
• Evaluation of photonics systems and components
• Create, manage and analyse test plans and test data

• A relevant Msc or PhD in Photonics/Electronics/Semiconductors/Physics
• Prior experience in a related experimental optics/photonics role
• Python experience (for data analysis and test automation)
• Understanding of cryogenics/freespace optics
