This position will focus on physical climate risks and potential impacts to business value chains. As a senior member of the team, you will be an effective communicator, able to shape the conversation and make compelling arguments backed by solid data analysis.

You will need:

  • Demonstrable experience with Python for data analysis, combined with the ability to quickly source, organise, and present complex data in an understandable format
  • The ability to rapidly comprehend information from a range of sources in order to create novel solutions to real-world problems
  • Good knowledge of climate-science and comfortable using published climate models or datasets (eg IPCC reports and CMIP) as sources for analytics
  • Knowledge or expertise in relevant topics related to climate change and nature risk, such as physical risk science, risk analysis, mathematical modelling, engineering or statistics
  • Full rights to work in the UK without time limit or sponsorship

It would be great if you also have some of the following:

  • Experience using and interpreting GIS data and packages
  • Commercial consultancy experience, ideally involving regularly presenting to senior executives and business stake-holders
