Head of Electronics
Salary & Benefits: £90,000 - £110,000, plus bonus and other benefits.
Location & Hybrid: Cambridge, 1-day WFH.

We’re working with an established business in Cambridge on the cusp of remarkable growth and innovation. As the Head of Electronics, you'll be pivotal in guiding a team of Electronics, RF, Baseband, and Technician Engineers challenging the status quo in technology.
As the Head of Electronics, you will spearhead the client’s electronic design teams steering the development of next-generation radio products and systems.
You’ll be responsible for driving the team to deliver solutions ensuring timely product delivery, refining existing designs, and crafting a cutting-edge Electronics roadmap in alignment with evolving technology.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience with the following:
- Hardware Development: Extensive background in hardware-based development projects, from conception to delivery, in medium-volume manufacturing environments.
- Hardware Architecture: Strong understanding and practical experience in architecting and designing hardware solutions.
- Technical Knowledge: High-level technical expertise across various hardware technologies, processes, and platforms to innovate and assess technical solutions.
- Integration: Experienced in cross-functional work with software, project management, and other technical teams with comprehensive knowledge of product delivery systems.
- Strategy & Planning: Proficient in creating and executing hardware and team development strategies efficiently.
- Leadership: Proficiency in leading teams through technological transitions with the ability to take responsibility for making pragmatic decisions. Knowledge of recruiting, mentoring, and performance management.
