We're looking for a passionate Digital Project Manager who can hit the ground running and be responsible for end-to-end delivery in a demanding and exciting digital environment. Job description You'll take ownership of full projects or parts of large-scale programmes, ensuring delivery was to agreed parameters of quality, time and cost, ensuring appropriate governance is followed. For example, plans, risks, issues and dependencies with effective escalation where necessary, owning them until they are resolved. You'll track and manage project progress and budget, providing helpful and accurate reporting to more senior project managers and/or governance boards. Actively managing change and governance for your projects, taking all cross-project impacts into account. You'll manage team dynamics, encouraging collaboration and shared ownership throughout the team. Deal with conflict and help establish a positive team culture. You'll build and manage stakeholder relationships across internal teams and suppliers, proactively identifying risks and issues and managing these. You'll communicate consistently across internal and external stakeholders, tailoring messages to ensure that it is right for the audience and consistent with broader project/digital messaging. You'll take responsibility for your own learning and development, continuously improving knowledge and skills in principles, methods, and tools as well as coaching and mentor Associates, identifying improvements in ways of working where appropriate. As part of the role you will be involved in ERP implementation. Experience in this is desirable but not essential. Person specification When giving details in your employment history and personal statement you should highlight your experience in line with essential criteria below: Can demonstrate they have taken full responsibility for the definition, approach, facilitation, and satisfactory completion of a number of different digital projects (typically with direct business impact and firm deadlines). Can demonstrate effective project controls to demonstrate the health of the projects they are responsible for and react accordingly to the information gathered. Experience of building and managing effective stakeholder relationships to shape the outcomes of a project, considering different individual needs, views, and ideas. Experience of building team dynamics and identifying ways to improve the way the team is working. Communicate in a straightforward, honest, and engaging manner, choosing appropriate styles and tools to maximise and check understanding and impact. Salary Information
Pay for this role is from £40,201 to £43,347.
Existing Civil Servants who secure a new role on lateral transfer should maintain their current salary.
Existing Civil Servants who gain promotion may move to the bottom of the next grade pay scale or 10% increase in salary whichever would be the greater. Location Applicants should apply for suitable posts where they can travel to and from their home office location daily within a reasonable time. Please be aware that this role can only be worked in the UK and not overseas.
