Job Title: Cyber Security Controller

Location: Preston - Hybrid - 2/3 split pending business needs - We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Up to £50,000 - £60,000 -Depending on experience and skills

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage on and off network security activities in line with company policies
  • Oversee security measures for up to various/numerous networks
  • Maintain high performance levels for service-related processes, and implementing improvement activities wherever necessary
  • Take ownership of critical incidents, coordinating with resolution parties, and establishing effective communication between stakeholders for post-incident reviews
  • Provide accurate and regular reports to the management on performance of the service delivery
  • Build strong relationships with teams and stakeholders to enable effective dialogue exchange between departments

Your skills and experiences:


  • Cyber Security market knowledge
  • Previous experience in large organisation overseeing security processes and procedures
  • A good level of experience in supporting the delivery of medium sized projects in a couple if not all of the Product Management skill sets
  • Be trained at least to ITIL foundation and either appropriate ITIL Intermediate or other appropriate capability training


  • Cyber security accreditation - CISSP
  • Prince 2

The Infrastructure Engineering team:

The infrastructure Engineering team is responsible for delivering new enabling capabilities, developing, and delivering solutions, resolving support issues, and maintaining, managing, and optimising the overall performance and availability of the infrastructure in several locations and across several networks. Customers are our internal engineering and product teams, and we will work to bridge the gap between infrastructure and software development and drive efficiency through high levels of automation. We have a responsibility to deliver solutions and systems from our data centres and ensure services for our customers.
