I am currently working with a company that specialise in subsea offshore vehicles. They are actively recruiting for an electrical controls engineer on a contract basis. Our client focuses on Subsea and Vessel based cable lay equipment. The ideal candidate for this position will have subsea experience and a strong background within EC&I. Our client is looking for somebody who can get on with the task at hand with minimal supervision. The client is looking for candidates with the following experience: * 5+ years of experience in electrical controls design * Experience in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical

  • Electrical schematic drawing
  • Siemens PLC Programming experience.

* On site commissioning experience. * Knowledge of the offshore/subsea industry is beneficial but not essential * Knowledge of HV and LV systems * Variable drive systems knowledge is beneficial but not essential Contract length - 6 Months Start date - ASAP Location - Glasgow - Hybrid 2/3 days in office IR35 Status - Outside Interested?
