We are working with a leading fabless millimeter-wave (mmWave) IC design company in Antwerp, who are seeking a Senior Antenna Engineer. As a spin-off from a Leuven based renowned institution, this innovative startup pioneers mmWave technology, providing cutting-edge design solutions for integrated circuits. As a Senior Antenna Engineer you'll bring RF and mmWave antenna design expertise to the team. Responsibilities include overseeing antenna and package design for satellite communication products, collaborating closely with the team for optimal solutions. Key Responsibilities as a Senior Antenna Engineer:
Define specifications for LEO/GEO satellite communication antennasDesign RF and mmWave antenna-in-packagePrototype, support measurements, and iterate antenna solutionsCreate test plans, design structures, and analyse resultsProvide clear and concise reports, interact with the team and clientsOffer creative solutions to technical challengesLead as the antenna expert in a mmWave chip companyRequired Qualifications:
BSc (Hons) or higher in EE with a focus on antenna designProven track record in RF and mmWave antenna designFull design cycle expertise: specs to measured antennasKnowledge of HFSSEagerness to learn and adapt to new toolsStrong communication skillsFluent in EnglishExperience with beamforming antenna arrays (Ku/Ka-band Satcom, 5G, etc.)What they offer:
