We're currently representing a forward-thinking technology company that's in the process of expanding its team. They're actively seeking a Principal RF Systems Engineer to drive the development of their cutting-edge fixed wireless access products, connecting individuals globally.

In this pivotal position, you'll take on the role of technical lead, responsible for overseeing system design, integration, and related considerations. Here's a snapshot of what the role entails:

  • Leading the design and integration of the advanced 5GNR and WiFi 7 mm-wave platform as a key influencer.
  • Defining and integrating complex phased array and radio systems, addressing both top-level and detailed low-level aspects.
  • Crafting high-level hardware, radio-related firmware, and software requirements.
  • Collaborating with internal design teams, external vendors, and partners to implement solutions and contribute to decision-making processes.
  • Analysing and proposing architectural alternatives for strategic projects.
  • Engaging with customer needs and market trends to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Providing active support for field trials, customer surveys, technical support, and production processes.
Experience as a Principal RF Systems Engineer:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
  • A robust background with experience as a Principal RF Systems Engineer and RF designer, including hands-on involvement in multidisciplinary environments.
  • Expertise in high-level and detailed radio and telecom system design.
  • Proven experience in defining high-level software, hardware, and firmware requirements, collaborating with design teams.
  • Proficiency in phased array systems, RF system design, and technologies, encompassing mixed signals.
  • Familiarity with multidisciplinary products/systems, test equipment, and automation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork capabilities, and adeptness at managing multiple tasks in dynamic environments.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to guide and support other engineers, lead tasks, integration teams, and customer field trials.
  • Hands-on approach with a proactive mindset.
  • Creative and innovative, with the capacity to absorb and disseminate knowledge and ideas.
  • Customer-oriented mindset.
  • Managerial skills.
