IT/Software Support Engineer (1st Line) Blackburn - Office Based £20,000 - £24,000 + 26 Days Holiday plus Bank Hols + Pension + Life Insurance + Free Parking This is a great opportunity for an IT Support Engineer looking for their next challenge covering software application and IT infrastructure support within a rapidly expanding manufacturing company that offers great progression and the opportunity to expand your knowledge with excellent training. This manufacturer are a market leader in digital traceability systems and they are currently rapidly expanding and have a reputation within the industry as being a leader in excellence and quality. They are now actively looking for a new junior member of the team that they can nurture and invest in. Through training and progression, you can become a technical expert within a year, all whilst receiving excellent benefits. Within this role, you will be logging tickets on a ticketing system to work on a 1st line investigation and assist in resolving the issue. You will also escalate issues to 2nd Line, work on Software Testing and Bug Identification. By working mainly with Active Directory, Office365 Administration and SQL; you will be based in the large Blackburn office within a buzzing collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a 1st Line/Helpdesk position along with experience in using ticketing systems. Ideally you will have experience with Windows, Microsoft Office365, Active Directory, SQL, basic networking and software skills. This is an excellent opportunity for a 1st Line Software Support Engineer with a passion for development to gain further training and become a go-to expert!
