Operational Security Manager

Location: Edinburgh, Manchester, or London

£55,000 - £60,000

We are seeking an experienced Operational Security Manager with a strong background within an MSP environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive PCI knowledge and expertise in technologies like N-Central, Azure, and Modern Workplace, while demonstrating a solid understanding of security policies, technical proficiency, and the ability to form strategic relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Security Policy and Standards: Develop, implement, and enforce robust security policies and standards aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise across various information security solutions and operations, ensuring their integration and effective operation within the business systems and processes.
• IT Security Solutions Integration: Oversee the integration of IT security solutions into the company's business systems, ensuring seamless operation and adherence to security protocols.
• Stakeholder Relationship Management: Establish and nurture relationships with senior internal stakeholders, collaborating closely to align security initiatives with business objectives. Engage effectively with external stakeholders as needed.
• Operational Security Management: Lead day-today operational security activities, including incident response, threat detection, vulnerability management, and compliance monitoring.
• Compliance and Certification: Utilize expertise in PCI compliance and relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) to maintain and enhance the company's adherence to security standards and certifications.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications are required. (Desirable).
• Extensive experience (5+ years) in operational security management within an MSP environment, with a strong focus on PCI compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of security solution such as N-Central, Azure, and Modern Workplace technologies.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and enforce security policies and standards.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with senior stakeholders, both internal and external.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
