You will be part of a large global consulting team (350+) with focus on risk and compliance offerings with significant presence in the US, UK and India. Working with this team will give you the opportunity to work with leading banks in the world and help them to transform their risk and control functions while providing ample opportunities for you to learn the leading practices adopted by these institutions.
The role: Will be part of the Financial Services environment as a Finance Business Analyst as part of a large and time-critical programme for a Tier 1 UK bank. Responsibilities: Gain an understanding of new Finance processes and requirements needed for current bank as they migrate to new bank systems Update process maps Data dictionary and migration work Review and support with data issues during migration Key Skills, Competencies & Experience:
Skills: Strong communications skills Proactive and delivery focused with excellent communication skills and organised approach to completing activities and deliverables Able to confidently present ideas in order to inform and influence leadership decisions Strong facilitation skills to elicit information from key stakeholders, both internally and externally Proven and demonstrable analytical and problem solving skills Ability to think laterally and generate creative solutions. Strong stakeholder management skills Proactive and delivery focused attitude. Ability to plan, co-ordinate, recognise and prioritise deadlines. Attention to detail, completing tasks accurately and in a timely manner. Ability to form and develop an effective network. Competencies & Experience: Finance background Mixture of candidates with general Finance BA skills, with some experience of the following skills: General Ledger, Sub-ledger, Account Postings management and or reporting Adjustments (topside) Last mile reporting Finance Reg Reporting Internal Finance metrics and reporting Financial Control or Product Control Requirements gathering and testing Map and gap analysis Data analysis
