This is an exciting opportunity for a SoC Architect to join a recently-opened Design Centre in Cambridgeshire. Our client is a highly reputable, world-leading developer of ICs for a whole multitude of markets. Having opened a new UK Design Centre last year in 2022, they are now entering a major recruitment drive and seek a SoC Architect to play a central role in driving new product development. The SoC Architect to be a key contributor to the development of next generation micro-controller SoCs with wireless connectivity targeting the broad embedded market space. The SoC Architect will take responsibility for writing architecture/micro-architecture specifications, crafting new product proposals/roadmaps, and work as the Lead Architect on SoC development projects. The successful SoC Architect will bring strong technical expertise in one or more of the following areas
SoC Architecture (microprocessor or microcontroller architecture and designs)SecurityBus Fabrics/Protocols (AXI, AHB, APB, etc.)Wireless/Networking (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, IoT and/or wired networking)Embedded Firmware/RTOSFunctional SafetyThis team is set for considerable expansion over the coming year, hence there are superb long-term career prospects with this company.
