Platform Engineer, Manchester, £75,000 - Think Differently?Do you see yourself as a unique thinker? A global consultancy are actively seeking an innovative thinker with a demonstrable strength in DevOps and AWSYou will take an active part in project design and build, supporting DevOps Engineers and other members of the project teams and supporting the systems that these tools reside on. You will be expected to stay up-to-date with advancements in in-house disciplines, suggesting approaches, implementing proof-of-concept and contributing to the future of the business. Read on for day to day responsibilities:Provision of standard toolsets e.g. AWS, Terraform, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, LinuxBuilding environments and pipelines for projects large and smallContinuous improvement of internal processIt'd be great if you had experience in:Experience with any monitoring tools e.g. Prometheus, GrafanaExperience with any Serverless services e.g. Fargate, LambdaExperience with mentoring engineersWhat's in it for you?A lot.
