Full-time role and hybrid working with 1 day in our London office (flexible working requests are welcome)

The Health Foundation is an independent charity committed to bringing about better health and health care for people in the UK.

The Data Analytics directorate plays a core role in delivering the Foundation's overall mission and strategy. We use cutting-edge approaches to provide insights about UK health and care system performance including problems, their causes, and potential solutions. We also support analysts across the Foundation with access to data and tools, and support and promote the use of data analytics across the health and care system.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior data analyst to join the Data Analytics directorate. The postholder will require advanced quantitative and analytical skills and ideally experience in R, with a willingness to work with existing code and analytical resources. They will need the ability to confidently design and interpret statistical analysis and communicate their work to a high standard. They will take the lead in writing a range of outputs, including blogs, data visualisations and articles suitable for submission to peer reviewed journals. They will need to be able to quickly build strong collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

The senior data analyst will initially work within the Networked Data Lab team, which is the central hub of a collaboration of five analytics teams across the UK. Working with these partner teams we analyse linked health data to provide national and local health system leaders with insights to improve the UK's health and care.

To apply for this role please submit your CV and a supporting statement which addresses all the person specification criteria flagged as Essential. Applications without a supporting statement will not be considered.
