This global semiconductor developer is seeking a talented Embedded Software Engineer to join their established audio software development team based in Leuven. The Embedded Software Engineer will be tasked with developing embedded software and firmware for consumer audio products. Working closely with the hardware development group the Embedded Software Engineer will be working on new software development projects for audio intelligent converters, sound amplifiers and all associated algorithms and software tools. The Embedded Software Engineer will also be responsible for developing embedded software for the next generation of these leading audio products. Having achieved your Master’s in Computer Engineering or equivalent, you will have gained extensive post graduate hands-on embedded software and firmware development experience. You will have excellent programming skills (C/C++/Python/ARM/x86 assembly) and be comfortable developing software under Linux (any flavour). Preferably you will be proficient with standard software engineering practices and any exposure to git, GitLab, Jenkins or Jira would also be beneficial.
