What - IT System Administrator (Windows Focus) Where - Based in Oxfordshire, our client will offer a hybrid model of working When - Actively seeking appropriate profiles now Why - Operating across the Automotive, Healthcare, Satcomms and Industrial IoT markets, this client is  growing and dynamic Semi-Conductor company who have world-class expertise in supplying custom analog, mixed signal and digital IC’s to its international customers. As an IT Support Engineer your responsibilities will be broad and include:
Helpdesk IT support for Windows and Networking ticketsConfiguration of Windows based laptops to an agreed specificationUndertake IT Induction for new startersDe-commissioning and re-assignment of laptopsSupport for Office IT equipment - printers, video-conferencing equipmentManagement of tools and apps - ensuring swift application of security patches and installation of new tools. Experience of Microsoft Intune an advantageTo ensure that our Windows based systems are robust and resilient to external cyber threatsTo support our plans for Cyber Essentials+ certification by working to implement, monitor and maintain solutionsDesirable skills
A solid understanding of Windows and network security for this position with experience in troubleshootingExperience providing support in a demanding environmentWindows Active DirectoryMicrosoftAzure AD - hybrid authenticationMicrosoft 365 and Exchange adminMicrosoft Defender 365Microsoft SentinelExperience with VMware and Veeam is desirableIf you think you fit the bill or would like to discuss other IT roles, I would love to speak with you.
