What is our client looking for?Our client is looking for passionate and energetic Platform/DevOps Engineers to work as part of an agile team, helping their clients build and improve their digital services using the best of open source software. In turn, a mixture of technical ability and characteristics are sought:Technology Experience:Sound knowledge of GNU/LinuxExperience of building infrastructure in AWS using TerraformKnowledge and experience of setting up and using configuration management toolingExperience debugging complex, multi-server service in a high availability production environmentIdeal Characteristics:An appetite for learning new technologiesAbility to converse with both internal and external stakeholdersPassion for getting stuck-in with hands-on projectsFast learner who loves a challenge

What are the Responsibilities within this role?Through working alongside some of the most talented people in the industry, you'll have the chance to help grow this clients community through the sharing of ideas and innovation. As a member of this team, you can expect to be:Undertaking cross-functional engineering projectsWorking with great technology, based on user centric design, modern open source technology, continuous integration/delivery, and modern software architecturesWorking primarily with the following technologies:

-Linux

-AWS

-Docker/Kubernetes

-Terraform

-Grafana/Prometheus

-Python/Ruby/Go

-Puppet
