Software Developer / Engineer (Java Low Latency) *Remote / Hybrid WFH* to £110kAre you a Java technologist who enjoys problem solving and optimisation?You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at a tech driven e-trading company.Your day to day:As a Software Developer you will work on complex, low latency, real-time trading systems to make improvements and scale a high throughput messaging system, designed for e-trading within the Fixed Income markets which handles around 20 thousand events per second.There's a strong pipeline of work and a variety of technically challenging problems to solve; you'll be joining a collaborative Agile team with continual training and development opportunities. WFH Policy:There's a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home with only the occasional (once a month) visit to the London office for team meet-ups.Requirements:You have strong modern Java development skills including multi-threadingYou have experience of working on low latency, high throughput systems (doesn't have to be within a finance environment e.g. games, telcos or similar)You have a good knowledge of Linux OS; TCP, UDP, Ethernet, HTTP and understand the concept of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)You're an advocate of Extreme Programming (XP), TDD (Test Driven Development) / DDD (Domain Driven Design)You're collaborative and upbeat with excellent communication skillsSalary & benefits:As a Software Developer / Engineer you can expect to earn a highly competitive salary (to £110k) plus bonus and benefits including 25 days holiday and potential equity.Apply now to find out more about this Software Developer / Engineer (Java Linux TCP/IP Latency) opportunity.
