Lead Trade Operations Analyst London / WFH to £150k

Lead Trade Operations Analyst / Manager *Hybrid WFH*. Are you an experienced Trade Operations Analyst with a good understanding of financial trading markets?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at a massively profitable Hedge Fund and enjoying perks including crown estate offices with in-house gym and yoga, break out areas, ergonomic desks and onsite restaurant as well as a hybrid work from home model.

As a Lead Trade Operations Analyst you will manage a small team responsible for supporting trading operations across a wide range of asset classes. You'll remain hands-on; typically you'll be monitoring daily systematic trading flow, managing order rejects, triaging production issues and managing incidents with the relevant trading teams. You will be responsible for the troubleshooting of trading issues anywhere between EMS/FIX and Broker/ECN through to middle and back office booking and position management, supporting back, middle and front office applications. You will also work with development teams to introduce automation wherever possible.

Following a remote interview process you'll join colleagues in prestigious Central London offices (with onsite restaurant, gym etc.) for three days a week with the other two work from home if desired.

Requirements:

You have experience in a similar Senior Trade Operations Analyst position with a strong understanding of trading system architecture and market data feeds

You have experience of managing teams, providing leadership and mentoring

You have a good knowledge of at least one of the following: Equities, Futures, FX, Fixed Income

You have a strong knowledge of Linux / UNIX and SQL

You have strong scripting skills and can create automation scripts from scratch (bash or Python)

You have a good working knowledge of FIX protocol

You're collaborative with excellent written and verbal communication skills

You're degree educated in Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics
