The Crown Prosecution Service is delighted to advertise the opportunity of Head of Portfolio Management within their Digital and Information Directorate (DID).

This is a fantastic time to be joining DID with the CPS focusing on organisational digital capability, embracing innovative ways of working and proudly being one of the most digitally advanced prosecution services.

The purpose of the role is to provide leadership and direction within the ICT portfolio function, delivering and continuously improving the portfolio management function covering transformational technology projects. You will lead and manage a team who are responsible for portfolio management across a roadmap of change, risk, dependency, benefits, and finance management. As a member of the digital change senior leadership team within DID, you will act as a champion for the wider digital agenda.

We are looking for someone who can drive forward improvements within the portfolio function, be able to direct and provide guidance on best practise and governance. You will be able to establish a culture of data driven decision making providing support throughout the change lifecycle. You should have an excellent understanding of portfolio management capability, functions and processes, be able to collaborate and communicate confidently with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, holding them to account.
