Lloyds Banking Group support a culture of Inclusion and opportunities to develop to become the Bank of the future and Helping Britain Prosper.On behalf of Lloyds Banking Group, AMS are looking for a Quantitative Analyst for a 12 Months based in London or Remote.Purpose of the Role:The vacancy is for an experienced Quantitative Analyst to join the front-office Quantitative Research team, as a contractor. The desire of the bank to utilize Murex platform for conducting business has created a need for in-depth evaluation of the Murex models for the purpose of pricing and risk management. As part of this push, the candidate will be required to work extensively on evaluating performance of the Murex models against the in-house models.

As a Quantitative Analyst you will be responsible for:Specifically, the role will require in-depth knowledge of XVA metrics and regulations, familiarity with financial market regulations, and ability to think out of the box.

What we require from the candidate:Quantitative Analysis

* Understanding of XVA metrics and the way they are calculated;

* Previous work on Basel 3 regulation;

* Experience with Monte Carlo computing ;

* Solid knowledge of rate, inflation, and FX products. Knowledge of credit and commodities products is a plus;

* Understanding of the markets in general;

* Strong analytical and numerical skills, including practical knowledge of comparing "black box" model results;

Software Development

* Strong practical software engineering, including understanding of design and architecture of quant libraries;

* Exposure to Python as a data analysis tool;

Qualification

* Post-graduate education (PhD, MSc or equivalent) in a highly quantitative subject (such as Mathematics, Finance, Physics or Engineering) or work experience that demonstrates the equivalent;

Lloyds Banking Group will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.
