Site Reliability Engineering - London You will be part of a development team, assuming the SRE function. Your goal will be to implement the below objective as well as ensuring that your team can also perform those tasks efficiently. Objectives of this Role Drive the continuous improvement monitoring and alerting of the application stack Migrate the alerting to an SLO based model Help setting up the error budget Respond to production failure, resolve production incidents. Own and conduct post-mortems for every impacting incident. Reduce / eliminate toil via automation Develop/add metrics in existing code and components Continuously assess and improve reliability of the application Measure capacity, anticipate and solve potential bottle necks ahead of time. Participate in new feature grooming to ensure all the SRE needs are incorporated from the beginning (Documentation, metrics, logging, automation, resiliency, etc..) Create and maintain documentation/tooling needed for an effective production support. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or other highly technical, scientific discipline Ability to program (structured and OO) with one or more high level languages, such as Python, Java. Experience with Kubernetes Experience in Cloud computing (preferably AWS) Very good knowledge (from an operating perspective) of those tools: Grafana, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Jaeger Preferred Qualifications Previous experience operating as an SRE Coding experience beyond simple scripts About Us J.P.
