Lead AWS Data Architect / Lead Cloud Data Engineer, London, up to £130,000 - Remote/Hybrid - #AWS #Spark #Data #DataBricks #DataLakes #AWSGlue #RedShift #Lambda #S3 #Engineer # ArchitectMy client is looking for a talented and motivated AWS Cloud Data Architect / Lead Cloud Engineer.Hybrid for the first 12-16 weeks undertaking an important project. Flexible for Remote/Hybrid once complete.Responsibilities:Analyse, re-architect and re-platform existing data platforms to a new centralised data platforms on AWS cloud using AWS tools and 3rd party services.Ownership of different elements of the Data Engineering Teams' workflows including data modelling, data pipeline, database design, automation, and ELT-related tasks.Design and maintenance of data pipelines, integrating from numerous internal and external sources into a data warehouse.Identification of any data quality issues in the data warehouse to allow and drive the use of accurate information at all times by all business functions across the business.Skills/Qualifications:Expertise in the collection, migrating and transformation data using Python, SQL, SparkExperience in REST-APIs for data transfersExperience in modern data processing platforms, data warehouses and data lakesExpert skills in building cloud-based data pipelines using data orchestration and workflow platformsAdvanced SQL skills, with a deep understanding of how to write performant SQL and debug problemsExpert in AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Amazon RedshiftSalary: Up to £130,000+ package Location: London If you are interested and meet the above requirements please send your latest CV
