Nigel Frank International's client is looking for an experienced and collaborative Technical Architect to join our client's inclusive and friendly team. This full-time Technical Architect role is based in Luton with hybrid working and comes with an excellent salary of £70,000-£80,000 and fantastic benefits. As a flexible Technical Architect, you will be responsible for the technical design of applications and platforms within the IT estate, adhering to enterprise standards and best practices. You will also work closely with enterprise architects, solution architects, business analysts, developers and delivery managers to deliver IT change that meets the needs of projects and programmes within the company's enterprise portfolio. In your first few weeks in this Technical Architect role, you can expect to:· Prepare and maintain technical architecture artefacts for IT applications and platforms· Prepare or provide support with designing and documenting technical solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements· Ensure the technical architecture documentation for systems is kept up to date and published· Collaborate with enterprise architecture and peers to identify and agree on the technical standards, frameworks, tooling and patterns for technical solutions· Support solution architects in the creation of end-to-end architecture To apply, you will need stakeholder management skills at an administration level and practical experience in owning and defining technical solutions together with presenting them in technical forums. You will also require the following:· A good understanding of design best practices, including design principles and patterns, security and performance· Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences· New technology awareness, evaluation and selection and experience with running or supporting vendor RFI and RFP processes· Expertise in operating in a distributed agile model and supporting onshore and offshore delivery teams If you're looking to impact and create change positively, you will be rewarded with an attractive salary of £70k-£85k and an excellent benefits package for your inclusive and committed approach.
