Microsoft Cloud Engineer1-year fixed-term basis, 37.5 hours Mon to Fri (plus out of hours support), based at Redhill Airfield

We are now looking for a passionate and dedicated professional to join our KSS family! In this key role, you will:
- Manage the migration of other services to Microsoft Cloud and oversee Microsoft/Azure licences and policies, whilst optimising fees
- Support the KSS transition to One-drive, coach, train and support people to set things up the right way
- Oversee the controlled shutdown of our remote server and, where possible, removing cost
- Oversee Microsoft/Azure licences, policies and optimise fees
- Optimise KSS's Cloud infrastructure
- Implement ongoing improvements to our cyber security and support the move to Cyber Essential Plus standard
- Optimise Azure, tidying up, ensuring we have proper audit process to ensure continuous compliance with GDPR, gambling commission, NHS requirements (ISO)
- Change the infrastructure and introduce solutions like Cloud printing & Cloud telephony
- Closely looking after users and helping the less savvy with the basics
- Look after some Hardware e.g. configuring Firewalls, re-installing laptops, replacing batteries etc.
You'll be working alongside our Third-party IT Partner.

- Experience of finding opportunities to reduce IT/Cloud infrastructure and optimise costs
- Experience of managing transitions and coaching/supporting colleagues in IT matters
- Self-driven to "bulletproof", optimise and secure the services
- A self-sufficient, self-starter, ambitious and committed to continuous improvement
- A completer-finisher, analytical and innovative in finding effective solutions
- Able to articulate IT issues to non-IT people
- A full, valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Please note, flexibility with working hours will be required as we host 24 hours operations. Equally, the successful candidate will need to live within a close, commutable distance of our location in Redhill. You will be asked about your commuting distance and time as part of the application process.
