If the idea of working on a unique historical programme and playing a meaningful role in the story of our capital city sounds like the kind of challenge you would relish, come and be part of our structure for success. The Houses of Parliament Restoration and Renewal (R&R) Programme is set to be the UK's biggest and most complex ever renovation programme. Indeed, significant work is needed to protect and preserve this fascinating UNESCO World Heritage site and ensure it can continue to serve as the home of the UK Parliament in the 21st Century. Accordingly, we're looking for people with proven product management expertise and a real desire to help shape our future - and improve our current capabilities - to take on this brand new role. Your challenge will be to use your input and expertise to manage the coordination of multiple product roadmaps to ensuring customer/business need, strategic alignment, delivery to agreed scope, feature and reuse innovation are managed throughout the product lifecycle. The exciting products you'll be working with include BIM Technologies such as IDE (Integrated Design Environment), CDE (Common Data Environment), Programme Management tools for Risk, Schedule & Cost Management and the Interfaces and Data transfer across the environment. It really is a great chance to create and own the vision for a product group. You'll also lead a diverse, cross functional team of Project Managers, Product Owners and Developers, providing both line management and matrix management where relevant, as well as coaching and support. Engaging with senior stakeholders and users to ensure they are clear on the benefits of the product, working with the Commercial team to manage partnerships and introducing and implement new ways of working - all are aspects of a senior product management role that will see you help evolve how we deliver value in partnership with the whole R&R team. To succeed, you'll need proven experience of applying product management methodologies, plus a good understanding of the drivers of value in your specific product area and data driven systems and product management/ownership of PMO Tools & systems. Exposure to technology related to construction programmes, an understanding of Master Data Management and/or experience of multiple project, product and agile management frameworks, delivery techniques and tools would also be useful.
