VMware Engineer - NetApp / VSAN - vacancy requiring profound Network and Storage (NetApp and VSAN) knowledge for a globally operating Basel based company in the financial sector.
Your tasks:Preparing and executing infrastructure upgradesBeing responsible for security and vulnerabilities management as well as assessing risks and implementation and collaborative working with team members and service managed partnersMonitoring, reporting and capacity planning along with improving the current DC infrastructureWorking on Cisco UCS infrastructure, which includes UCS manager, Fabric Interconnects, service profiles, service Template, chassis and B/C series serverBeing responsible for FRC management for managed devices and for Swift CSP concept
Your experience/knowledge:3+ years of work experience in building, maintaining and operating resilient virtualisation platforms based on VMware technologyExpertise with hyper converged infrastructure and software defined network and storageSolid understanding of datacenter technologies, requirements, and processesKnow-how of Storage, Network and Compute in an enterprise virtualisation contextExperience with storage systems like NetApp and VSANFluent English skills, verbally and written
Your soft skills: Practical presentation and communication skills, able to present points clearly and convincinglyAbility to demonstrate initiative, drive, and enthusiasm
