Avanade are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Microsoft Managed Desktop Engineer to join us at Consultant or Senior Consultant level. You will become part of our diverse and accomplished Infrastructure community, working with the latest Microsoft 365 technologies, helping deliver high quality, bespoke solutions to our clients.
About the role
Working on some of the largest and leading-edge projects, the purpose of the Desktop Transformation Consultant is to be customer facing and play an active role in large scale desktop transformation and deployment projects for our customers. This will involve delivering throughout the complete project lifecycle including design, build, test and deployment.
About you:
You are experienced Microsoft Managed Desktop Engineer and naturally have a strong foundation in core Microsoft infrastructure technologies. You can demonstrate prior experience and subject matter expertise in large scale desktop transformation and deployment projects (2000+ seats) where organizations have migrated from one version of desktop operating system to another. You also come from a consulting background with good customer facing skills
As a Microsoft Managed Desktop Engineer, you will have experience in the following:
Enterprise Experience in Deploying Microsoft Managed Desktop
Windows 10 / 11 Client Management
Management of Microsoft Managed Desktop with InTune
Application Deployment to Microsoft Managed Desktop using InTune
Management and Deployment of M365 suite.
Knowledge of Azure Active Directory / AAD Connect for Authentication
SCEP or PKCS certificate Deployment
An understanding of using Cloud Printing such as MS Universal Print & Non Microsoft Cloud Printing Solutions
Expertise in any of the following areas is also highly desirable
Azure I/PaaS
Windows Virtual Desktop
Microsoft 365
Teams
Exchange Server
Active Directory
