Infrastructure Engineer Remote / WfH to £60k

Infrastructure Engineer (Windows Cloud AWS) *Remote / WfH*. Are you an Infrastructure Engineer seeking an opportunity to progress your career, continually learning on a large scale modern tech stack?  

You could be joining a growing FinTech that provide trading platforms to a range of finance professionals.

As an Infrastructure Engineer you'll join a small team with responsibility for ensuring that the company's systems are designed and optimised for scalability, high availability, security and disaster recovery. You'll provide 2^nd and 3^rd line support for the Infrastructure Team, carrying out BAU activities as well as project based improvement work,; working with a range of technologies including AWS, Azure, Windows OS, Linux and Networking. They'll be plenty of opportunities to learn and progress your career.

The company can offer a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home from anywhere in the UK on a permanent basis; please note there will be occasional visits to the London office for team meet-ups and you can also do a hybrid model from the London office if preferred. Please note you'll be working with colleagues in Australia so there'll be some early starts for Agile stand-ups but very flexible working hours to compensate.

Requirements:

You have experience in a similar Infrastructure Engineer / Systems Engineer position

You have a strong knowledge of Windows OS, ideally also some Linux based knowledge although it's not essential

You have experience working with AWS and / or Azure cloud based services / infrastructure

You have a good understanding of basic networking and troubleshooting

You enjoy problem solving and have technical investigation experience i.e. root cause analysis, error diagnosis

You're collaborative and pragmatic with great communication skills
