Application Support AnalystModis are currently working in partnership with a market leading software solutions provider to recruit an experienced Application Support Analyst with experience of providing 2nd line support to both internal and external clients. Please note this role is fully remote and will provide extensive development opportunities. The RoleAs an Application Support Analyst you will be providing 2nd line support for a market leading web based application. The ResponsibilitiesEnsure that ticket queues are managed effectively & responded to within agreed service levelsProvide technical integration support to clientsProvide 1st and 2nd line support to existing clients promptly & accuratelyDrive service improvements targeted at reducing call volumes and improving the quality of support provided to clientsProvide best practice incident management of issues impacting clients through to resolution, including escalation within the business & communication to clientWork closely with the Systems Administration & Development teams to ensure that support tickets are being handled in a timely mannerConfigure various servers in a Linux environment specific to various applicationsQuery production databases to run reconciliation reports for the management teamBuild POST requests in JSON, HTTP, SOAP and XML for various test cases specific to the Hosted and API integrationsManage and prioritise your workload in accordance with the various response SLAs The RequirementsExperience in support and diagnosis of internet protocolsPrevious technical support experienceStrong log analytical skillsStrong knowledge of JSONDesirableKnowledge of HTMLKnowledge of MySQL & database queriesKnowledge of Apache Tomcat server architectureExperience of Linux based systems If you are looking for an exciting new opportunity to join a leading software solutions provider please apply now.
