Firmware Engineers are sought by this leading technology developer to be based at their R+D Centre in Naples. The Firmware Engineers will be responsible for the development of firmware, embedded and bare metal level software in C and C++ for emerging storage device technologies including architecture development and the development of embedded software and firmware for next generation multimedia storage. The Firmware Engineers will be responsible for the complete development lifecycle. Having graduated with a good technical degree (or equiv.) you will have been successfully developing firmware and embedded software at hardware interface level in C and C++. Your skills will include a knowledge of developing software / firmware for embedded microcontroller architecture and for developing algorithms and also integrating highly optimised code. Any exposure to storage related technologies and modern agile software methodologies would be beneficial.
