Python Developer - Investment Bank 

 At least 7 years ‘hands on' IT experience with design experience of production multi-tier systems.

Practical experience of Software Engineering principles.

Expect level in Python minimum 5yrs 

Nice to have C++  or Java 

Linux

SQL Database design

Desirable skills

Object Oriented databases. Experience using code profiling tools.

Apache Ignite database

Boost experience.

Websphere MQ, ZeroMQ.

Python Django and Twisted experience.

Analysing/tuning programs and platforms for high performance.

The project and business - Derivatives risk and P&L warehouse, used by Rates, FX & Credit traders as the only source of their overnight and intraday risk.  It is a global system of 1000 active users that presents risk for credit derivatives, bond and IR/FX products. It is closely linked to the DVS grid system, which computes the risk.The  team are also working on a new system to handle reporting of low latency intraday risk for trading. This is being developed in Java using Apache Ignite database. We use the following technologies: Python (2 & 3), Java, C++, Linux , Windows, Object Oriented database (ObjectStore), SQL Database (Oracle, Postgres), Apache Ignite
