Security Architect Remote / Europe to £120k

Security Architect (AWS Cloud OWASP DevSecOps) *Remote Europe*. Are you an experienced Security Engineer looking to step up into a Security Architect role? Or have you already gained some experience as a Security Architect and you're now looking for a role where you can have total ownership and make a huge impact? You could be working fully remotely from anywhere across Europe for a growing eCommerce that have a successful fashion outlet platform focussing on sustainable and ethical clothing.

As a Security Architect you will take on a highly impactful and vital position within the company as the first dedicated security hire. Your core focus will be to champion best security practises across the platform and to implement suitable security protocols and processes. This role will initially be incredibly hands-on as you establish the security set-up and culture before you go onto hire a dedicated team around you and move into a leadership / management role whilst still remaining hands-on.

The company is based in Amsterdam however, this is a fully remote role allowing you to work from anywhere across Europe. If you would prefer to work in the office the company can support you with relocation to Amsterdam.

Requirements:

You are a Security Engineer looking for the next step in your career or alternatively you have experience as a Security Architect already

You must have a range of security experience / knowledge - including security networks, applications, cloud, governance etc.

You have good knowledge of security standards like OWASP and you're familiar with security testing, CICD security and DevSecOps

You have a very good understand of cloud security (AWS)

You have worked within security for a scale-up / rapidly growing organisation previously and understand the challenges around this

You must be fluent in English (verbal and written)

You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
