Senior Manufacturing Production Manager (Lean/CI)

£55-65K

East Manchester area, commutable from Oldham, Droylsden, Hyde, Manchester, Ashton-under-Lyne, Stockport, Rochdale

Days based-37 hours/week 8AM-4.30PM Mon-Thurs, 8AM-4PM Friday

Are you an experienced Manufacturing Manager/Production Manager, looking to work for a major player in the low volume Electrical product Manufacturing industry, based in their superb head office, with over 400 staff?

This role will suit an ambitious candidate, and you can really put your stamp on things as the focus of the role is about making strategic improvements to do with quality, production planning and automation, amongst others.

You will be responsible for second line management, managing budgets and driving performance improvements with a particular focus on quality.

Therefore the role will include: 1.Managing continuous improvement and lean activities in the manufacturing environment.2. Analyse, utilise and review data and produce reports and plans3.Second line management (EG shift team leaders)

To apply you should have:

Experience at leadership level within the manufacturing sector (open to which sector)Demonstrable knowledge of lean manufacturing, 6 sigma, CI project work and automationCommercial acumen and budget management experience
